Situated in Northwest Ohio, Toledo is the fourth most populous city in the state and the county seat of Lucas County. The city has the amenities of a lively metropolis and the charm of a small town. From the world-class Toledo Museum of Art to the award-winning Toledo Zoo and nationally-known Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye, the region boasts attractions to both its visitors and residents alike. The city sits on the western end of Lake Erie and borders the State of Michigan (1 mile north of Citizens Bank). There are three major highway interstates that run through Toledo. The Turnpike (I-80) connecting Toledo to South Bend and Chicago to the west and Cleveland to the east. Interstate 75 travels north-south and provides a direct route to Detroit (55 miles) and Cincinnati and Interstate 475, only 2.5 miles south that encircles much of the city.
