This iconic building built in 1917 was originally constructed as The Maison Marcell restaurant before becoming Bard’s 8th St Theatre in 1922 which later was renamed the Olympic Theatre in 1932 before closing as a film house in 1997. In 2017 the theatre got brought back to life by H&M’s COS who took over for a short stint until closing in 2022.
