This modern office building was an old warehouse that was converted into a two-story office building. The building has been extensively remodeled and upgraded with new siding, roof, skylights, windows, HVAC, electric, acoustic ceiling tiles, floor covering, elevator and parking lot. Restrooms are located on both floors. There is a covered entrance at the front of the building, concrete sidewalks, and a handicap ramp. The Cochrane Court office building is located on the near south side of the City of Portage at 311 E. Wisconsin Street (Highway 16/51). The 300 block is located 2.5 blocks south of the downtown section of the City of Portage. Portage serves a regional population of more than 45,000. Recent road improvements have allowed for a smooth flow of traffic to and from the city. Interstates 90/94 and 39 lie just outside of town. Portage is about 35 miles from Madison, 90 minutes from Milwaukee and about three hours from Chicago or the Twin Cities.
