The Community Plan Update includes changes to allowed land uses and development types and intensities, including new land use designations for five identified Opportunity Areas, which due to their location, mix and intensity of existing development, and access to transportation and infrastructure, have the most potential for change. The updated Plan is based on extensive public outreach, analysis of community conditions, needs, and goals, and created with the participation of North Fair Oaks residents and the guidance of a steering committee made up of stakeholders with knowledge and experience in North Fair Oaks.
