Ancient House is a Grade I listed building dating from the 15th Century. The building sports detailed pargeting, and also elaborate wood carvings around the front of the house. Four panels of pargeting show a Tudor impression of the world. The front of the building also bears the Royal Arms of King Charles II. The accommodation is over basement, ground, first and second floors and has a total area of approximately 7,090 sq .ft. The main entrance is off Butter Market though a single door. This also provides disabled access. To the rear of the property is a small court yard and metal stairs for means of escape. The windows at the front of the property are encased in detailed wood carvings.
