The Shops at Copper Basin is located on the east side of East Hunt Highway north of East Copper Mine Road in San Tan Valley, Arizona. San Tan Valley is an unincorporated city in Pinal County between the cities of Queen Creek and Florence about 30 miles southeast of metropolitan Phoenix. San Tan Valley is in the growth corridor between Phoenix and Tucson, projected to become one of ten major Megapolitan areas in the US. The Phoenix metro area (Phoenix-Mesa-Glendale MSA) is the 12th largest MSA in the country. Despite the economic down turn, Phoenix has maintained a growth streak in recent years. Population and economic growth have made Phoenix the center of the state’s economy. More than a third of the state’s entire labor force works in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
