Completed in 2002, Truist Center honors a time long before its own, with an art-deco theme showcased in colors of black, white, gray, and bronze. The College Street lobby entrance features original metalwork from a 1920's Paris department store. Handsome black Chinese granite makes a statement on the exterior, as well as on the lobby floors and elevator cabs. The 46-story Truist Center is easily recognizable because of its reverse floorplate design, which gives the tower its distinctive flared top. Bands of glass combine with solid vertical stone around this 964,783 rentable sq. ft. building. The 32-floor office tower sits atop a 15 floor podium that contains the 1,400-space parking garage and ground-floor retail shops. Outside the building, the Truist Center is lined with shops & restaurants, and features a green oasis.
