221 Main Street is currently built out as office space on the upper floors with tenants in place through the end of the year. The ground-floor retail spaces are fully leased to three tenants.
As of January first, the upper floors will be vacant and ready to convert to apartments. I have had an architect do initial drawings for feasibility purposes. The building will accommodate between 20 and 27 units, depending on the unit mix. I'm happy to share the plans and discuss the ground-floor tenants. I had a preliminary meeting with the building department, fire department, and planning/ zoning they liked the plans. Converting the upper floors of this building to apartments does not require a public hearing.
