Major Area Growth Driven by Samsung and Mixed-Use Development
Located just 6.5 miles away, Samsung’s $17 billion semiconductor facility is currently under construction in Taylor, Texas. Designed as a secondary cluster to its Austin campus, the project includes chemical and gas supply infrastructure, office buildings, a utility plant, a parking garage, and a major manufacturing facility. Additionally, the site will house an electrical substation, water reclamation systems, and back-of-house support facilities.
The site spans 1,200 acres, nearly matching the scale of Samsung’s flagship in South Korea. Once completed, it will generate 2,000 direct jobs. As a result of this U.S. expansion, nearly a dozen support companies are expected to follow, relocating operations to Texas.
Expanding Residential and Commercial Development
Just south of Ridge Crossing at Blackhawk, the Lakeside Meadows project is bringing 420 acres of residential, office, and retail space to life in a walkable format. In addition, 130 Crossing, a newly constructed project at Pecan Street and SH 130, includes 45,000 SF of office and 1 million SF of industrial space—further accelerating economic growth.
Meeting Demand Through Strategic Retail and Housing
These major developments are expected to drive a significant increase in traffic and business activity. To support that growth, new residential options like Biltmore at The Park and Livano Pflugerville are among the first to meet the area’s surging housing demand.
