The Plano Event Center is located just 30 miles from DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport. The Plano Event Center offers approximately 46,493 square feet of designated indoor function space and 40,000 square feet of outdoor function space for a total of 86,493 square feet. This includes 21,600 square feet of divisible exhibit space, 3,556 square feet of ballroom space, 13,590 square feet of hallway space and 7,747 square feet of meeting space spread across 14 breakout rooms. The exhibit hall also frequently serves as flexible ballroom space. The City of Plano owns and manages the facility. The PEC’s catering department serves as the exclusive caterer. Many of Plano's corporate citizens use the Plano Event Center because of its flexible function space accommodating as many as 5,000 people for corporate meetings, hybrid meetings, conventions, trade shows, holiday parties, weddings, indoor sporting events, and more.
