Middle Street is one of the main retail areas in the Town of Consett. Middle Street is currently undergoing a multi million pound facelift with new paving throughout, street furniture, with built in phone chargers and lighting. Completion of the street works is due June 2022. Nearby occupiers include Superdrug, Clintons Cards, Greggs, Newcastle Building Society, Henron Foods as well as a number of independent retailers.
