Other Details:
Inside of the school campus, every building, except for storage and maintenance buildings, have bathrooms. There are some 18 on campus counting each boys and girls bathrooms separately. There are two extremely nice "libraries", several "computer and science labs", art studios, and other special use rooms within those buildings. For example, in the "Performing Arts Classrooms" building, the Dance Room is a beautiful dance studio, with special flexible wooden floors, made like professional dance floors to protect the feet of the dancers, along with mirrored walls and ballet bars. The dance studio was designed to be exactly the size of the stage in the Theater, making rehearsals more exact in floor space. The Band and Orchestra Rooms have special built-in storage units to hold the students' instruments. The Chorus Room has a small raised stage within the room. In the Elementary Classroom building, the first building on campus, there is a large room called the "Little Theater", which is complete with a stage, stage curtains and a small "light & sound box area". It does not have permanent seating as in the big Theater so it can be more multi-purpose. Folding chairs work nicely for productions by the younger children. Other little details... There is a large fenced playground and a large room upstairs with a raised stage in Novak Hall (high school classrooms). The 14,800 SF Gymnasium is completely air conditioned, configured with locker rooms, a weight room and 3200 SF of upstairs classrooms. Several of the classrooms on campus have small "office areas". And there are lots of other details that make this campus the special and precious place that it is! Calling this site a "school campus" doesn't do it justice. This special "space" has been much loved and lots of thought has gone into carving it into the educational facility that it is today.
