The Celes building is an office building built in 2001 according to a project by the Allende Arquitectos architecture firm. It won the “Best New Floor Building 2001” award given by the Madrid City Council and the “Architecture and Housing 2003” award from the Community of Madrid. The building is defined, in the words of its architect, as a great exercise in abstraction where the sense of using an empty box predominates. It is worth mentioning, among its technical features, the roof of the atrium, the cleaning of the roof surface, without protruding machinery, and the trusses of the south façade.
The building has seven office floors and two underground floors for garage use. Each of the floors is organized with a core of elevators and stairs and two separate office modules.
It is currently going to undergo a reform of both the common areas and the offices, complete rehabilitation. It should also be noted that the building with the reform will have the BREEAM Energy Sustainability Seal.
As for the free height, on standard floors it is 2.70 meters and on the ground floor it is 3.20 meters.
