Seller is a Blue Diamond grower. Blue Diamond's contract is transferrable for the acreage that the member currently has in Blue Diamond for the new owner to continue to deliver to BDG. The new owner can assume the contract but has the right not to. They are 5-year evergreen contracts that automatically renew after the 5 years unless the grower wishes not to renew. Payments are made approximately 15 days after deliver to Blue Diamond from the huller then one in January, one in April, one in June and a final in September. Seller is willing to negotiate 2025 crop proceeds with the buyer depending on the timing of closing the transaction.
