Redding is the county seat of Shasta County located in Northern California. The population is approximately 90,000 in the city limits. The City of Redding is the fourth largest city in the Sacramento Valley and the northernmost in the Central Valley. Redding is located directly in the middle between Mexico and Canada along Interstate 5. This City is the primary center for trade and commerce for the larger Northern California region, consisting of approximately 5-6 counties.
