The Deco Arts Building is located in the heart of Hyde Park. The historic three-story building has indoor parking in the basement and the south half of the first and second floors. The building is strategically located on the southwest corner of a major stoplight intersection that is also a transfer point for the commute on either the bus and train. The Deco Arts Building is about 7 miles south of the downtown area (The Loop). The University of Chicago is located in the Hyde Park area and is the largest employer/primary focal point of the neighborhood. One of the oldest communities in Chicago, the Hyde Park neighborhood is a well-balanced community providing a variety of commercial and community facilities that are complementary to the Deco Arts Building, including restaurants, entertainment, personal services, banking and transportation.
