Originally the First Presbyterian Church in Lubbock located at 1400 15th Street in Downtown Lubbock. This historical church is currently being used by multiple churches and as a wedding and event venue as well as a fully operational child development center. Talkington Hall is the main sanctuary with 2,100 SF, a beautiful 300 pipe organ and can seat 350 - 400 people. The Ballroom and Parlor have an additional 4,433 SF and are used for weddings, receptions, business meetings, company parties and other events. This space connects to additional foyer space used for cocktail hours and food serving lines. There is a 2-room bridal suite with a private restroom and fully equip for bride and bridesmaids. Across the hall is a private groom's room. There is a large, fully equip commercial kitchen and a smaller prep kitchen for catering and events. The building has multiple offices throughout the facility. Some of these are used by Legacy staff and others are leased out. The north side of the building consists of the education wing which has 2 stories of classrooms and a basement. This space includes over 10 classrooms, a large dining room and prep kitchen and multiple restrooms. This space is occupied by YWCA Head Start and Early Head Start Child Development programs. They will continue to occupy the space through June 2020.
