This one-story brick and block building constructed circa 1924 by Southern Sierra Power Company during their expansion to provide electrical service to the Imperial Valley. The building was designed by Peter J. Weber for the firm of G. Stanley Wilson, Architect in the Art Deco style. Designed for its desert environment with deep eaves and clerestory vent windows. Original medallions, corbels, and mosaic ceramic tile adorns both the exterior building, and tiled interior service counter. Tongue and groove drawers with original brass fittings remain.
