The previous owner obtained a Wetlands Permit from the state which will allow fill to be brought in to achieve approximately 1 acre of buildable land in this prime location. As part of that process, approximately 13 acres of wetlands in Lincoln Park was obtained to mitigate the loss of the wetlands at this site. Since that was far more land than was needed for the offset, there are valuable wetlands credits that go with this property and could be sold to another property owner who needs them.
