The 39,574 SF Howard Oil Company Seedhouse is one of Houston’s most distinctive industrial landmarks. Each section is separated from the others by a brick firewall, making it feasible to tear down a portion of the building to create additional parking while repurposing the remainder. The building is a City of Houston Landmark, making it eligible for Historic Tax Exemptions for rehabilitation and repairs. It is not, however, a Protected Landmark, meaning demolition is still possible.
