Completed in 2023, Island Grown Farmers Cooperative is a USDA-approved Livestock Processing Center (LPC) built to serve Western Washington farmers and deliver premium local meats to their customers and communities. This state-of-the-art facility includes a full commercial processing equipment package, climate--controlled processing rooms, a USDA-compliant kill floor with a full overhead rail system, excess paved yard area, and a retail-storefront.Its location in the heart of Skagit Valley enables IGCF to proudly serve more than 80 farms across Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan Counties, helping to preserve Western Washington's rich farming heritage.IGFC provides essential slaughter, processing, cutting and packaging of beef, pork, lamb and goat.
