Freestanding commercial building and established waterfront restaurant located in Downtown Tavares on the north shore of beautiful Lake Dora. The downtown district is a bustling area which is very walkable and easily reachable by car approximately halfway between the City of Orlando and The Villages, the largest retirement community in the country. The restaurant occupies a coveted spot across the street from the lake, a large community park, and the Tavares Seaport, the seaplane base and recreational boating marina which inspired the restaurant’s concept and name.
The restaurant is an expansive, two-story facility with an elevator encompassing over 6,470 square feet under air with an additional 2,082 square feet of covered patio space. Both levels feature separate kitchens, bars and dining areas, while the second floor also features a full banquet facility which is popular for family celebrations like
birthdays, bridal showers, and weddings, as well as business events and fundraisers. The building exterior is a mixture of CBS with brick columns, metal roofs and canvas awnings.
