Established in 1947, the Orient bar and grill has been owned and operated since 1978 by Kathy and Gary Remmers.  After a fire, the bar was reconstructed and expanded. Seating capacity is now approximately 175. In 2006, owners constructed a 2400 sq. ft., single level, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with attached garage. The home and restaurant are connected. The business and home are located in the award-winning Faulkton, SD School District.
