Located at the heart of LA in West Hollywood, just blocks away from the up-and-coming Sycamore District and minutes away from Beverly Hills, is the coveted Lot at Formosa. Built in 1918, The Lot at Formosa's history and impact on Hollywood is as rich as it is timeless. The original founders who built our facility, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, were pioneering Hollywood's early days in the American film industry. Both actors and filmmakers, their shared passion for filmmaking led to the creation of Pickford-Fairbanks Studios, now known as the Lot at Formosa. Our facility has gone through a number of different ownership and building changes, but the thing that has always remained is a strive to create a shared creative space for ideas to grow and come to life. From films like "Robin Hood" (1922) and "Some Like it Hot" (1959), The Lot at Formosa has always been a high achieving creative space. Since then, our campus has grown to house not only film industry creatives but music, fashion, and even wellness creatives. Whatever drives your creativity, The Lot at Formosa is here to support and help grow your achievements.
