However, artists with other specialties are encouraged to apply as well. This spacious warehouse property is nestled in the Central Eastside Industrial district. It is surrounded by local shops and minutes away from Belmont, MLK, Hawthorne and Grand Avenue. If you recognize it, that might be because it used to be managed by the Northwest Woodworking Studio and has history in the local art community. Today, it is home to Ideaworks. Ideaworks is a non-profit dedicated to providing artists with the resources they need to learn and thrive. Their mission is to foster collaboration between Masters and Students. Ideaworks aims to preserve cultural knowledge while cultivating new practices.
