Boynton Beach’s Town Square is a 16-acre civic and retail site anchored by City Hall, a meeting place for government employees and local residents alike. City Hall houses the adult and children’s libraries as well as resident-facing services like the Building Department. FAU Tech Runway, a public-private partnership aimed at fostering innovation, has also announced plans to open an office in City Hall, adding a business incubator to the already-bustling space. The Boynton Beach amphitheater is just outside the café, and other walkable amenities include the cultural center, the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, retail shops, a hotel and parking garages. The site also hosts a number of annual events, such as Pirate Fest and the Kinetic Art Festival, which draws tens of thousands of visitors annually.
