THE AREA Trail of the Coeur D Alenes Spanning the North Idaho Panhandle, the 73 mile Trail of the Coeur D Alenes attracts nearly 54,000 visitors per year. The most popular part of the trail, with over 35,000 visitors per year is the scenic 10 mile ride along and across Lake Coeur D Alene. This ride begins in Harrison, home of The Cycle Haus, and ends in Heyburn State Park, Idaho’s first state park. The Route of the Hiawatha Located in the Bitterroot Mountains on the Idaho/Montana border, the Route of the Hiawatha is a 15 mile ride featuring sky high train trestles and a 1.7 mile long tunnel. It attracts nearly 70,000 visitors per year. The Cycle Haus provides bike rentals, e-bike rentals, and shuttle service to and from the Hiawatha. Harrison, ID Harrison, ID is a small town located on the banks of Lake Coeur D Alene and the Coeur D Alene River. Along with being a premier cycling destination it is a summer destination for boaters, kayakers, fisherman, birders, and nature enthusiasts. It is adjacent to the Chain Lake region, home to a vast wildlife habitat featuring moose, deer, elk and hundreds of bird species. THE RESTAURANT The Cycle Haus restaurant occupies the front building of The Cycle Haus complex. It features a robust breakfast, coffee, lunch, and happy hour menu. The 1224 SF building accommodates seating for 32 and a 350 SF retail area with unique hand designed and sourced trail and cycling souvenirs. The outdoor patio and courtyard provides seating for additional 34 people. The unique hand crafted bar top is a regional gem featuring intricate hand carved artwork and map of the Trail of the Coeur D Alenes. The restaurant currently employes 11 staff and features comprehensive systems and training programs. BIKE RENTAL & SHOP The Cycle Haus Bike Rental & Repair shop occupies the rear 800 SF building. This includes a nearly 300 SF retail and repair area and 500+ SF bike storage area. Interior and exterior storage houses approximately 80 bikes and e-bikes. The Cycle Haus focuses on providing high quality Trek Bikes and Rad E-Bike Rentals to discerning affluent cyclists. Our bike shop currently employs 4 employees and has authorized wholesale rental agreements with Trek, Aventon and Rad Power Bikes. We also have wholesale agreements for Rad and Aventon E-bikes to be a retailer. SHUTTLE & TRAVEL PACKAGES The Cycle Haus Shuttle Service provides transportation for the Trail of the Coeur D Alenes and Route of the Hiawatha. This unique service allows us to provide complete bike rental and transportation packages for both trails. This offering provides opportunity for additional cross-selling of our bike rentals, retail offerings, and restaurant. The 14 passenger/16 bike shuttle bus and trailer are included in the sale.
