The Scenic Salinger project is located on North Main Street in the heart of Downtown Rochester, NH. The project comprises of two historical structures, the Scenic Theater and the Salinger Block, as well as a new interconnected building. Together they will feature 50 apartments and two commercial spaces. The Salinger anchors Central Square in downtown Rochester and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Named after Isador Salinger who built the structure in 1879 for his dry goods business, the Salinger Block has had numerous commercial occupancies over the years but remains an exceptional example of turn of the century neoclassical architecture featuring a façade of glazed brick and carved limestone.
