Red Wolf Boulevard (formerly Stadium Boulevard) is the most traveled thoroughfare in a trade area of over a half million people. There are currently two major hospitals in Jonesboro: St. Bernard' s Regional Medical Center, which is the city' s largest employer and NEA Baptist Memorial, which is in construction on a new $400 million dollar campus along Highway 49 in the upcoming months. The city is also home to Arkansas State University which is the second largest college system in the state. A-State employs many people and offers degree levels from associates, bachelors, and masters to specialists. Jonesboro' s large industrial park features such companies as Nestle, Frito Lay, Post, Hytrol, Unilever, Riceland, and the new $100,000,000 windmill facility, Nordex.
