Haywood County, located in Southwest Tennessee, is 55 miles east of Memphis and 25 miles west of Jackson. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has proposed a new connector roadway from I-40 to the BlueOval City campus, which is about 50 miles northeast of Memphis. This project is to help accommodate increased commuter and freight traffic, specifically caused from BlueOval City’s electric truck and battery manufacturing plants.
