The three buildings house approximately 5,000 people in approximately 2,600,000 square feet. On-site parking for nearly 800 cars is provided in a two-level garage below the plaza, supplemented by an off-site structure for 2,485 cars. Below the on-site garage is a completely enclosed air-conditioned retail concourse of 24 shops and restaurants. The buildings have a structural frame of steel covered with highly polished panels of Forest Green granite and panes of solar bronze glass, set in a disciplined pattern of extreme simplicity. The design of the project is sophisticated and powerful, establishing a proper environment for this financial center defined by the color accentuated landscaping and highlighted by its centrally located Plaza fountain and Herbert Bayer sculpture. CNP’s Design Architect was Albert C. Martin & Associates, and its General Contractor was Turner Construction.

CNP sits at the center of the DTLA renaissance and vibrancy with its location serving as the bridge between the growing business, retail and residential districts of Bunker Hill / Civic Center and the South Park areas to reinforce downtown Los Angeles' stature as one of the world's most dynamic cities. CNP provides the best in class real estate experience and alternative in downtown LA due to its superior product quality, location, access and amenities.

The CNP ownership has completed significant interior upgrades to both the North and South Tower buildings main lobbies, including installation of operable glass doors that create a dynamic indoor/outdoor connection to the outdoor Plaza, sculptural lighting elements, cosmetic enhancements to the elevator lobbies and cabs and a new security console and access control system. In addition, a one of a kind project Event Center has been completed on the North side of the North Tower lobby.
