The Hilton Hawaiian Village covers approximately 22.1 acres of land over 25 parcels of land and is a self-contained premier resort village destination located at the gateway entry of Waikiki.
It consists of 2,971 hotel guestrooms, which are housed in five distinctive hotel towers, being the Rainbow Tower (832 rooms), Tapa Tower (1,044 rooms), Diamond Head Tower (435 rooms) and Apartments (44 apartments), Ali’I Tower (324 rooms), and Kalia Tower (292 rooms). Additionally, there are three time share towers that house 656 units, being the Grand Waikikian (331 rooms), Lagoon Tower (253 rooms), and Kalia Tower (72 rooms).
The Village also consists of over 150,000 SF of indoor and outdoor spaces for banquets, receptions, meetings, conferences, conventions, etc…
The resort includes six swimming pools, the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, fitness centers, boutiques and other retail shops, as well as restaurants and poolside bars.
As of June 2014, the Grand Islander Tower, a new 37-floor 418 timeshare tower, has broken ground adjacent to the Tapa Tower, over the Tapa Tower bus depot. Blackstone Real Estate Partners VI is providing capital for this new tower. Hensel Phelps Construction Company has been appointed General Contractor, Group 70 International, Inc. as the architect, and Indidesign for interior design. Rider Levett Bucknall will provide project management services with Hilton Worldwide acting as the development manager.
