The 30-story American Savings Bank Tower (formally known as Pacific Tower) was completed in 1972, and features an exterior of poured-in-place, ribbed concrete panels with engraved designs, which gives American Savings Bank Tower a traditional Hawaiian presence in the Honolulu skyline. The 28-story Pauahi Tower, which was completed in 1983, features a travertine marble and bronze tinted glass exterior, reflecting the modern international trade center that Hawaii has become today. Tamarind Park not only ties the complex together, but also serves as a setback from the popular intersection of King and Bishop Streets. The park, unique to all of downtown Honolulu, adds a sense of presence and grandeur to Bishop Square.

The two towers are serviced by a parking structure consisting of 1,188 parking stalls.
