Ronayne Waldron joined Avison Young as a result of the November 2013 acquisition of McShea & Company, Inc. Ro is a Senior Vice President and has been with the company since 1987. Ro brokered the sale of the 133 acre of the Montgomery Air Park Business Center site. This transaction won the prestigious NAIOP MD/DC Real Estate Transaction of the Year for 2004. In addition, this transaction was selected as the best land sale in the region by the Washington Business Journal. Ro was the winner of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) Sales Transaction of the Year 2000 Award for suburban Maryland, and he was named as one of the top ten producers among sales agents in suburban Maryland. Ro also received GWCAR’s Multi-million Dollar Leasing Award for years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007. Ro represented GE Capital Info Systems in the leasing of 238,000 square feet, the largest industrial transaction of 1997, and he also represented Otsuka Pharmaceutical, Inc. in the leasing of 95,000 square feet of office space. The Otsuka Pharmaceutical transaction was one of the largest office leases in 2001. Ro was the top producer at McShea & Company, Inc. for the Year 2007.
