Michael J. McCarthy joined Newmark Knight Frank's Connecticut office in 2008 as an associate. Mr. McCarthy works on a team with Principal Patricia A. Valenti and Executive Managing Director Hilarie S. Siles. Together they cover Westchester and Fairfield Counties, concentrating on tenant and agency representation on behalf of some of the area's most prominent landlords including The Winter Organization, HPHV Direct LLC, SL Green Realty, Core Plus Properties, LLC, Angelo Gordon & Co., Bank of New York Mellon, South Broadway WP, LLC, and CAF Management.

Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. McCarthy worked for McCarthy Associates, a commercial real estate firm located in White Plains, NY, providing tenant and agency representation.

Mr. McCarthy is actively involved in several community organizations. He sits on the committee of the Habitat for Humanity of Westchester and the Burke Rehabilitation Wheelchair Games and is a member of the Westchester Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick. He is also a member of the Business Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Association and the Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY.

Mr. McCarthy graduated from Fairfield University in 2006 where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and a minor in marketing. He holds a real estate license in Connecticut and New York. Less
