Kahlil Kenneth Barnard has been active in real estate since 1992 and developed an emphasis and specialization towards leased investment real estate services while joining Marcus & Millichap in 1997. Mr. Barnard’s specialization has been established and proven over the previous 16 years at Marcus and Millichap with a focus in consultive brokerage for retail real estate investments ranging from regional malls to the NNN single-tenant asset class.

Mr. Barnard has attained Vice President Investments designation as well as Director within the company’s National Retail Group. Less than 10 percent of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group members have achieved the Director status.

Kahlil Kenneth Barnard joined Marcus & Millichap in November 1997, while opening up the Indianapolis office for its retail division and is easily now one the industries leaders in market share for the business. He has excelled in his career while being named Sales Associate in December 2000, amended to Senior Associate in May 2002, promoted to Senior Investment associate in July 2005, and most recently named First Vice President of Investments in 2007. He also has consistently served as a Director of the firm’s National Retail Group since its inception, and routinely serves as a Mentor for a select number of Junior Agents in the Midwestern markets for the firm.

Kahlil actively participates in leadership and mentorship roles both within the company and externally while he sits on the board for the Indiana University Center for Real Estate Studies and holds Midwest Real Estate Equities Club (M.R.E.C.) meetings for real estate investors alike as the founding member. In addition, he runs an investment company called Midwest-Properties.com for wealth building of its principle members through acquisition and management of leased investment based properties and is its largest share holder. Less
