Prior to entering the real estate business, Mr. Tison held senior marketing positions with IBM, RCA and General Dynamics Corporation in Washington, DC. His background in real estate includes over thirty years experience in mortgage banking, development and in all facets of commercial leasing and sales. Mr. Tison directed one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the Mid-Atlantic area at Mount Vernon Realty with over 60 professional brokers in four offices and was later a Senior Vice President for Barnes Morris/Insignia ESG and a Regional Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Mr. Tison relocated to his native Charleston in 1999 and affiliated with Palmetto Commercial Properties before becoming President of the South Carolina offices of Commercial Carolina/Cushman & Wakefield in 2004.
Mr. Tison is a graduate of The Episcopal High School in Virginia and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He resides in Charleston Less
