J. Trent Queen joined Kimball & Company Commercial Realtors, Inc. in 2007, adding years of experience in commercial real estate research and analysis to the firm. As the Director of Marketing and Research for Kimball & Company Commercial Realtors, Mr. Queen continues to track downtown real estate trends, but also oversees the entire firm’s research and marketing programs for both the Real Estate and Restaurant Divisions throughout the entire Triangle region. Since 2007 and with the completion of over $13 million dollars in transactions, J. Trent Queen has built a solid foundation upon which Kimball & Company continues to grow.

Just prior to joining Kimball & Company Commercial Realtors, Inc. and while earning his B.S. in Business-Entrepreneurship at North Carolina State University, Mr. Queen worked as the Research Assistant for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance and helped develop the current Economic Development Report and created their databases which help to track all residential and commercial properties within Downtown still today.

In addition, J. Trent Queen currently is a contributing member of Preservation North Carolina since 2006, an active member of the Urban Land Institute-Young Leaders, an Emerging Green Builder designated by the United States Green Building Council, currently pursuing LEED-AP certification and a Downtown Raleigh homeowner. He also initiated the Downtown Raleigh Historic Plaque Program which helps to define, clarify and expose Raleigh’s cultural identity as a city.
