Byron has been in the commercial real estate business for 25 years representing buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Shames-Makovsky Realty Company in 2006 he was with CAMCO, Inc., a national real estate firm based in Chicago, IL, for 14 years and was responsible for the Colorado/Arizona region which consisted of industrial, office and multi-family properties. He was directly responsible for completing leases and sales of over 4 million square feet with a value in excess of $70 million. Prior to that position, he was Vice President in charge of operations with Vantage Properties, a national commercial real estate developer that developed, managed, and leased over 6 million square feet of suburban office and industrial properties in the Denver metropolitan area. He has made the Denver Business Journal’s top ten industrial brokers quarterly list several times during his career and in 2008 was ranked 7th on the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors Heavy Hitters list for the volume of transactions he completed in 2007.

He has represented and worked with national and local clients including Teachers Retirement System of Illinois, Travelers, Johnson & Wales University, Allegiance Healthcare, Honda, Makita, Connecticut Mutual, Nissan, Mutual of New York and Union Carbide Pension Fund.

Byron has a Business Degree from the University of Wyoming and has lived in Colorado for over 34 years. Less
