Mr. Putzel has been Vice President and Controller of Trout, Segall & Doyle’s companies since 1987. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed real estate sales representative. He is involved in all three major aspects of Trout, Segall & Doyle’s business – brokerage, development and management. His development activities focus on conducting project financial analyses and arranging for financing. His brokerage activities are focused on the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Formerly the Deputy Director for Economic Development in Baltimore County, Maryland, Mr. Putzel also spent four years negotiating and administering contracts for a major Baltimore defense contractor.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Putzel has Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Urban Studies. He has a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Johns Hopkins University and after further graduate work at Loyola College, passed the Maryland CPA examination. Less
