Mr. Brady is the founder of Somerset Properties, and has been a commercial real estate specialist for thirty years. During his career he has been responsible for acquiring, developing, managing, and financing millions of square feet of investment properties. Under his leadership, Somerset Properties has become a full-service real estate investment company with expertise in all facets of owning, operating, and managing commercial real estate. Prior to forming Somerset Properties, Mr. Brady was President of Penn Square Properties for ten years where he oversaw the acquisition, development, and management of more than three million square feet of commercial real estate including two award-winning redevelopment projects totaling over $150 million. Before his involvement with Penn Square Properties he was in the investment division of Smithy Braedon where he placed more than $100 million in mortgage financing. Mr. Brady started his real estate career in Washington, D.C. in 1980 with Interstate General Corporation where he managed and developed over 3,000 apartment units, a 140,000 square foot regional shopping center, and 120 residential townhouse units. Mr. Brady has held leadership positions in a number of community and civic organizations. He served 7 years on the board of Springside School where he chaired the Building and Grounds Committee that oversaw $25 million in new facilities construction. Most recently he served as president of Sunnybrook Golf Club where during his term he oversaw the $5 million dollar renovation of the club’s golf course and clubhouse facility. Mr. Brady holds a B.S. from Middlebury College. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Less
