Towers Rice is a Greenville native and has been involved in the Real Estate and Construction industry for the past twenty-four years. At an early age, he was taken to job sites by both his father and grandfather and introduced to every aspect of real estate development from an appreciation of land and community to the value of physical work and seeing a project through to completion. Because of this legacy, he has developed a strong love for the land and the desire to see it used and managed wisely.

Towers graduated from The Citadel in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration. Since graduation he has added to his education continually and currently holds a Commercial Brokers license in addition to his General Contractors license. He is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors Commercial and has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a member of NAIOP which is a Forum for Commercial Real Estate. Additionally, he has begun taking CCIM classes (Certified Commercial Investment Member). He served on the Citizen Housing Committee for Greenville County. He is currently serving on the Advisory Committee for the Powdersville Water Company.

Prior to joining Spectrum Commercial as an Associate Broker, he was affiliated with RealtyLink, LLC in project management, development, and brokerage. Towers has been involved with the development and construction of projects for commercial retail and restaurants as well as industrial warehouses throughout the region. He has extensive knowledge in all phases of development for build to suit projects including: Acquisitions, leasing, permitting, design and architectural/engineering selection, contractor selection and bid administration, and construction management as well as overseeing completion and follow up on punch list items until the tenant is fully operational. His experience with national companies and thorough knowledge of the market make him well qualified to handle commercial brokerage. Towers strives to provide the best services possible to each of his clients and aims to assist them with their real estate needs by paying careful attention to detail and always providing honest advice. He is qualified in both acquisitions and disposal of properties as well as tenant or landlord representation.

Towers has been married for 22 years to his college sweetheart and together they are raising 4 children here in the upstate. Their oldest will graduate from Clemson University in December of 2008 and the others attend the Wren Schools. He is on the Board of Directors for the Kiwanis Club of Greenville and actively participates in The Terrific Kids Program. He has also served as an Assistant Scout Master for a local troop and earned The Order of the Arrow (as an adult) while serving at Camp Old Indian a few summers ago and now serves as a Troop Committee Member.
