Thomas C Aguer CCIM, SIOR - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

In his 30 years in the real estate industry, Tom has represented over 8,000,000 square feet of Class A office properties throughout the Sacramento region.

Tom began his career in commercial real estate at the Sacramento office of Coldwell Banker Commercial, now known as CB Commercial where he remained until 1982. During that period he became top producer of the Sacramento Office specializing in office properties.

From 1982 until 1986 Tom was a Vice President at Brown Stevens Elmore & Sparre commercial brokerage company where he continued specializing in the leasing and investment sale of high quality office projects.

In 1986 Tom became a partner at KCS Development Company, a regional development company specializing in office and retail commercial property. While at KCS, Tom was directly responsible for the development and leasing of twelve successful office projects totaling over a 1,000,000 square feet in the South Natomas and Roseville office markets. In 1991, one of his projects, the 2485 and 2495 Natomas Park Drive twin towers received the BOMA award for Top Office Building of the Year for North America.

In 1992 Tom left KCS to form Aguer & Associates Commercial Brokerage Company now know as Aguer Havelock Associates. He has recently represented Bank of America in the lease of their 190,000 square foot Sacramento customer service center, as well as negotiating a 175,000 square foot regional headquarters lease with Health Net Corporation.

In 1982 Tom was selected to be the first Sacramento Office member of SIOR, and in 1992 received the CCIM designation. Combined, these two designations are the most coveted and respected designations in commercial real estate.

Tom has served as director of many local charitable organizations including the Rotary Club of Sacramento, Junior Achievement of Sacramento, Big Brothers of Sacramento, the Sacramento Food Bank, and DDSO, a school for developmentally disabled young adults.
