Ted Konigsberg - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Born fifty two years ago in South Florida, Ted specializes in Land, Industrial, Office and Investment property development, leasing, sales and acquisitions. After obtaining a Business Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, he became active in the manufacturing sector. Ted owned and operated Kane’s Masterbuilt Furniture and Silver Cloud Showrooms, highly respected furniture design, manufacturing and distribution companies and is a three time past President of the Florida Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Florida Furniture Markets. Ted started investing in real estate before beginning his formal Real Estate career with Colliers International. He opened the Collier’s International office in Miami-Dade County in 1995 with just one Broker and one administrative assistant, created Konigsberg Commercial Real Estate in 2003 and Infinity Real Estate in 2005. He has negotiated the transfer of millions of square feet and is licensed both as a Real Estate and Mortgage Broker. He has been admitted to the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), which consists of an elite, world-wide group of approximately 1,500 Brokers who have passed rigorous educational, peer review and dollar volume requirements. SIOR members are considered to be the most highly skilled real estate practitioners in the industry.
His experience includes the negotiation of leases with and for Black and Decker, The Tribune Foundation, Humana, The City of Hollywood Florida, The McCormick Foundation, Groupe Pacific, Starwood Hotels; client representation and "build to suit" land and improved property development negotiation for the FBI, The Holocaust Documentation and Education Center, U.S. General Services Administration, Lance Foods and ADVO Inc.; sales and disposition for Johnson Controls, B.F. Goodrich, Cerberus Capital, Global Crossing, Mako Marine, Atlas materials, B. F. Goodrich, etc.
In addition, the U.S. Senate Finance Committee has recognized him as an expert witness on behalf of the General Services Administration. Ted has provided opinions of lease and property values to the Federal Government, Continental Airlines, ExpressJet and others. Besides third party brokerage, Ted has also owned and managed development land, retail and office properties. He says his varied experiences as a businessman, investor and Broker give him a unique perspective.
