Steve McMillon joined The Kucera Companies in 1984 as the President of Kucera Management, Inc. where he was in charge of all the leasing, management, and construction supervision for the company. Prior to joining The Kucera Companies, Steve owned his own property management and leasing firm in Houston, specializing in multi-family and office/industrial product. The company was sold in 1980 when Steve relocated to Austin.

The Kucera Companies experienced large growth in the mid 1980's. In 1986, Steve became Senior Vice President of The Kucera Companies with supervision duties of all marketing activities, including commercial leasing and brokerage.

For the last ten years, Steve has averaged producing over 150 leases per year, representing both Landlords and Tenants. Specializing in strategic corporate planning for office space, Steve has assisted major corporations including Apple Computers, AT&T, Fujitzu, New England Life, MaxServ, The City of Austin, BancAmerica, Coastal Bank, State Farm Insurance, National Semi Conductor, Cirrus Logic, Orkin, Provident Insurance Company, CompuCom, GMAC Mortgage, GE Capital Consulting, GTE Mobilenet, and The Electric Reliability Council of Texas. Less
