Previously named Executive Vice President of NAI James E. Hanson, Inc. in 1995. In 1998, Michael was instrumental in the creation of NAI James E. Hanson, Inc.'s Corporate Services Group and took on the role as Executive Managing Director.

Corporate real estate experience includes the sales and leasing of more than 4,900,000 sq. ft. of office, land, and industrial facilities for Ingersoll-Rand Company, The Torrington Company and Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Company. Other present and past corporate clients include Herman Miller, Guilford of Maine, Tektronics, Fleet Bank, First Union, Agfa Corporation, Cigna and Regulus Group LLC, ITT Industries, The Timken Corporation.

Michael has enhanced his international corporate experience by directing the real estate activities for Regulus Group LLC and its strategic alliance partners which include Wells Fargo Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, Nations Bank and the Bank of America.

Background & Experience

Upon graduating college in 1980, Michael began managing and leasing a portfolio of 600,000 sq. ft. of multi-tenant office buildings for NAI James E. Hanson, Inc.

Throughout his 22 years with NAI James E. Hanson, Inc., Michael has been recognized by the company for his experience four times as Salesperson of the Year and twenty-two times as Salesperson of the Quarter. He has also been awarded the NAI Chairman's award three times, has been a member of the NAI Gold Club every year since its inception since 1995 and most recently was named co-receipient of the Fitzgerald Award for 2001.

International Experience:

Managed and completed the opening of operations centers for First Union in Canada. Operation Centers were opened in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. Additional International assignments include the sale of 256,000 sq. ft. on ten acres in Coventry, United Kingdom and the leasing of 100,000 sq. ft. in East Berlin, Germany as well as the sales of Ingersoll-Rand's Corporate fishing camp in Blackville, New Brunswick, Canada.
