Michael Shelly - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Mike joined Carter in 2005 as senior vice president in the Project Leasing group with more than 30 years of experience in commercial office leasing and development, focusing primarily on marketing and leasing the office space in Atlantic Station. Since taking over that assignment, Mike has been involved in pre-leasing over 300,000 rentable square feet of office space kicking off the construction of two new office buildings in Atlantic Station, bringing the total office component to 1.4 million square feet.

Prior to joining Carter, Mike served as executive vice president for Richard Bowers & Co. where he directed the 260 Peachtree marketing team in leasing the 27-story Class A property. His previous experience also includes co-founding and serving as president and principal for the Parthenon Group. While with the Parthenon Group, Mike coordinated the overall leasing and marketing program for Peachtree Center, a 2.25 million-square-foot office and retail mixed-use complex in Downtown Atlanta.
