Matthew C Hagler - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Matthew C. Hagler, Partner, is one of the four founders of Legacy Real Estate Advisors, LLC. A Charlotte native, with nine generations rooted in Mecklenburg County, Mr. Hagler began his real estate career with McKee Realty Company. He has extensive experience in representing Buyers, Sellers, Landlords and Tenants alike in the Charlotte area.

Prior to starting Legacy Real Estate Advisors, Mr. Hagler was involved in bringing Keller Williams Realty to the Charlotte market and served as Director of Commercial Real Estate for the Carolinas. As a Principal Owner of the Ballantyne Market Center, he helped grow the franchise to one of the most successful market centers of its size in the U.S. In the past six years, he has closed over 80 real estate transactions.

A licensed broker in North and South Carolina, Mr. Hagler is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and is a CCIM candidate. Mr. Hagler graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a major in Political Science and a minor in Gerontology and was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society.

An avid humanitarian, Mr. Hagler serves as the current President and Lt. Governor Elect of the Mecklenburg Kiwanis Club. In this capacity, he oversaw the evolution of two key initiatives: The Young Children - Priority One Literacy Program and the Kiwanis Women and Children's Hospital. The literacy program, which emphasizes the importance of reading, involved the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, YWCA, Bethlehem Center Charlotte and Queens University, and with the help of Phillip Morris was able to help distribute over 1,000 books to children ages 3-15 years. The club is also undertaking the task of creating, with the partnership of Presbyterian Hospital, an International Kiwanis Women and Children’s Hospital, to be located in Charlotte dedicated to serving women and children from all over the world.
