As Managing Partner of Gateway Ventures, Mack Reese brings 35+ years of residential and commercial real estate expertise developing over 3,000,000 square feet of office, research, retail, and multi-family projects with a diversity of financing and ownership structures; including taxable and tax-exempt bond financing structures, traditional construction financing with internal and limited partnership equity and term bank loans, and permanent financing via insurance companies and CMBS structures. As developer and investor, Reese has initiated thoughtfully designed and uniquely financed, pioneering urban developments; including Technology Square in Atlanta where he and his partners developed one million square feet of office, research, residential and retail space adjacent to Georgia Tech’s campus and, most recently, the WestEdge project in Charleston where he and his partners have over 1 million square feet of mixed use space currently under construction.
