Kirk is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography and History, experiencing three semesters in Law School, and later receiving his Master of Science Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Land Use and Park Planning emphasis. Besides his professional designation as a CCIM and CRE, Kirk has the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designation from the Missouri Association of Realtors. Kirk has the distinction of being one of few Commercial Real Estate Brokers that has served as a "President" of the Greater Springfield Missouri Board of Realtors in 1992. Kirk's origin in the Real Estate business was first as a Broker-Salesman, then as a Co-Partner in his father's original firm, Hugh W. Heyle Realtors, which was later changed to Heyle Realtors & Counseling Services in 1988.
